Hailing from Russia, Quite has quickly settled themselves among the scene's top groups. They have made quite an impact with (predominantly) size-coded productions, receiving nominations for the 2008 Scene.org awards for Breakthrough Performance and Best 4k Intro (for "Hypnoise Part I"). Not only do they show technical prowess, but also (and perhaps it's the main ingredient of their success) an excellent taste in aesthetics.

In April 2009, the boys from Quite released a collection of tunes under the title "Tuesday". No system requirements or indeed any useful production notes at all are provided, but it ran fine on my system (Windows XP, 2 GB RAM).

The interface is of limited use. Graphically it's competent, but controls (previous, next, and a play/pause button) are only revealed by hovering with your mouse over the surface of the interface. Not very useful indeed, thumbs down for that.
The data directory reveals 30 .IT modules, authored by Preston and MAM. Fortunately this is where the value of the production lies. Stylistically it's diverse enough; it is quite biased towards ambient, IDM and experimental music, but there's also some techno and trancy stuff to be found in between. Sample quality and use of effects are satisfactory enough, these guys know their stuff. Total playing time is 1 hour and 47 minutes.

Overall: musically this is a competent collection, but as a musicdisk it leaves a lot to be desired. Still I would recommend it, just for the sake of providing good background music. The production is eminently suitable for that purpose.
